The plant is compact, small-sized (30-50 cm), but spontaneous mutations may occur, such as: variegated leaves, very long leaves, growths larger than usual for this variety.
The leaves are short and pointed, with reddish hues on the underside.
Philodendron 'Little Phil' stands out for its very large basal branching, being a plant with good stability (does not need support) and a very strong root system.
Care instructions for Philodendron 'Little Phil':
Placement: Philodendron 'Little Phil' prefers a bright or partially sunny spot - experiments in Australia show that the plant can also be successfully grown in direct sunlight, although there is not enough data provided. However, it will also tolerate a shadier area. The foliage will become greener if placed in a shadier spot.
Watering: The soil should be neither too wet nor too dry. Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry partially between waterings. Make sure the growing system provides good drainage.
Soil: Philodendron prefers nutrient-rich soil that retains moisture well.
